Before you get started Boostpro would like you to know that we are not responsible for any damage caused to your engine. As long as you follow basic instruction and DO NOT exceed 7 psi of pressure while pressurizing your manifold there won't be any problems.

Now let's get started! (click images to enlarge)

Tools required

10mm socket and/or wrench
Flathead screwdriver
Air supply w/ air chuck (such as air compressor or air tank)

1- Remove nose panel in front of hood.

2- Unplug mass air flow sensor(s).

3- Unclamp your mass air flow sensor(s) and/or your dummy mass air flow sensor

4- Once the mass air flow sensor is removed you may insert the Boostpro Boost Leak Tester (circled in red) into the passenger side of the intake system and the dummy plug (circled in green) into the driver side. It fits perfectly where the mass air flow sensor use to fit. Make sure they are both seated correctly and tighten clamps. Also you may want to unclamp and rotate both intake bends to point outward like the picture shows as it makes it easier to reach.

5- You may now take your air supply and pressurize the passenger side of the intake system. Carefully monitor the gauge and remember DO NOT exceed 7 psi of pressure. Don't worry about it happening by accident because it takes about 25 seconds generally to get to that level of psi in your intake. Once you have hit 7 psi carefully listen for any air leaks. They are very easy to hear and you may have to pressurize the intake 2 or 3 times to find their exact location. Once you have completely leak tested the passenger side swap the tester and the dummy plug around and leak test the driver side of the intake system. Once both sides hold pressure then your leak free. Remember to read the How Boost Leak Testers work section so you understand the definition of leak free.
